Hermann Jeuschenak

Director

Hermann graduated from UCT with a Bachelor of Business Science (Finance major) in 1995, is a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (USA and SA) and the Turnaround Management Association (Southern Africa). Hermann specializes in the analysis of market opportunities and the formulation and implementation of business strategies. Hermann’s extensive experience in industry and commerce has given him a keen understanding of operational requirements, which he is able to effectively combine with his financial analyst expertise to develop capital and operational structures best suited for improving business performance.

Robert Boers

Director

Robert qualified as an ACMA with CIMA in 2001 and has 2 Honours degrees in Finance from Stellenbosch University. He has over 15 years working experience across numerous industries ranging from manufacturing and distribution to banking and across sectors like FMCG, construction, finance and investment. His skill set ranges from financial and managerial accounting to investment finance and has operational experience is restructuring companies financially and operationally including start-ups, early growth and shut down cases.

Aimee Hoppe

Senior Accountant

Aimee Hoppe is one of our Senior Accountants and manages the accounts team for a number of our investments. She has been in accounting for 20 years with 3 years articles experience. She has coached many junior bookkeepers to perform at their best and has also run her own business during this time. Aimee is passionate about accuracy, attention to detail and ensuring systems are running smoothly and efficiently. Her confidence and decisiveness are motivating qualities beneficial to any team. Outside of work, Aimee enjoys being in beautiful gardens and growing her own plants. She writes a blog, reads both fiction and non- fiction and enjoys philosophy, poetry and classical music. Her biggest goal is to live and run a fully self-sustainable estate in The Cape.

Ephraim Mawonedzo

Senior Accountant

Ephraim is an MBA graduate, currently studying ACCA Professional stage to keep abreast of current trends in international reporting standards. Equipped with a varied skills set in Financial, General, and administration management, acquired over 15 years of combined experience in private and public sector organisations, he can design, review, and implement robust controls that help companies realise operational efficiency and extract value. As a Senior Accountant at Business Elements, his role includes Financial Reporting, working Capital Management, Non-current asset register maintenance, Payroll, and Statutory & Tax compliance. Ephraim enjoys playing computer chess, watching football and supports Barcelona FC.
